When I was young I used to have these toys that you could push together or play with alone…they did not use any kind of battery or anything like that. They were really similar in what they did to bendy straws. They expanded and contracted. they were probably about 3/4 of an inch in diameter. any ideas what they are?

This movie was put on at school when I was in kindergarten in 1989 (although it wasn’t educational at all, or at least I can’t imagine how it could have been). I don’t remember the overall storyline really, but I do remember a few major details quite vividly because this movie was quite creepy/borderline scary to my class. It was a live action movie that had the basic elements of Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story, where various toys lived in a child’s room, and when the child was out, the toys “woke up” and carried on some sort of life. The creepy part was that the mother (whose face I don’t believe was ever shown) would sometimes come clean up the child’s room, and if a toy was touched by her, it could never come to life again. I’ve been googling from time to time for the past few years trying to figure out anything about this movie, but with no luck whatsoever. I’d appreciate any insight you have. Thanks! :)

When I was a kid in the late 70s and 80s, there was this toy. It was circular plastic stacking toys. You could build towers with them. They were plastic circles with 4 legs that stacked and clicked into the ones below them. Any ideas?
yes, I remember them being different colors. They weren’t the best thing in the world, because they just made his tall towers… but it’s been driving me crazy. Basically plastic rings with four legs.

This toy was a car, bigger than hot wheels, but they had weapons coming out from behind and on the sides and they had a metallic finish. I remember one was metallic purple and had silver limbs which were usually weapons. The cars were supposed to imitate an animal or creature. One of them had a silver scorpions tale. Anyone remember this? I’ve been looking for a few years and none of my friends or family seems to remember.

So I want to find out what this toy from the 80s is called. It was made out of huge multi-colored PVC pipes and including wheels and flat pieces to sit on. You could assemble them all together and build forts, etc. They look like huge tinker toys. Any help would be awesome. Thank you!
