Do you remember My Little Pony from the 80’s?. Did you hang onto them as your kids grew?. I didn’t, and I am kicking myself now. You can make money with these little toys.

It is hard to know what is going to be popular or collectible later on. Some toys don’t value at all and others skyrocket.

It is now the season for garage sales, and basement sales, and rummage sales, so get your elbow pads on, and get out there and start searching for My Little Pony, and their assorted accessories. You are bound to find some in garage sales, as people start doing their spring cleaning. Just make sure they are in good shape.

Also try checking with friends with kids that were young in the 80’s, because that is when they were most popular. I remember seeing aisles of them in the local K-Mart, and my daughter wound up with an extensive collection, which she gave away when she got older.

If you take a Saturday, and go looking, you are bound to find some, I have seen them in Church Bazaar sales as well. Then take them home, make sure they are looking their best. (Brush their tail!) and take pictures of them, and get them online.

Another way, I have made money with these and other collectibles, is to actually buy them online, especially bulk sales, where people are just wanting to get rid of toys. You will get a good deal this way. Then turn around and sell them individually online, and Ebay is your best place to make money with these toys. It gets the most traffic.

If you have been looking for a way to make extra money, get into the collectible toys, and start with the My Little Pony, it will soon add up.
