It was an animal, but you didn’t know what KIND of animal it was until you opened it. You’d pull out it’s ears and it’d either be like a rabbit, a cat, or a dog (I think) and it would either have an innie belly button or an outie.

This is NOT kitty/puppy surprise, was totally different. I remember it being purple.

It was an electronic toy and it made the same weird speaking noise as the speak and spell. But it was red (mine was at least) and you would put different templates into it and play with it (like a farm animal template and you’d push the different animals and it would tell you the name of the animal). It was kind of big and heavy and had a speaker in the corner I think. You don’t pull a string or anything. What is it called? I can’t remember and it’s bothering me.

I used to have a toy in the early eighties. It was a red device that you could hold like a pair of binoculars. You looked up into the light and pressed a button to cycle through a circular reel of slides and view the images. Anybody remember what it was called? Its name escapes me.

You’d slam on the little pump and the car would zip off at a million miles an hour down the included cardboard track. Picture the cars from F-Zero (there were also airplanes later on). I seem to remember the name being Streaks, but I can’t find any information online.
